Your Parenting Plan

At Interplay, we believe in the interconnectedness of everything, including the influence we have on each other, even down to our cells.

During our time together, you'll gain insights into your own and your child's brain and physiology, understanding how your environment impacts your actions, and when it's appropriate to take a step back.

We will focus on reshaping your responses to your child, whether they need skill-building or relearning. If your child needs to develop new skills, I'll be there to guide you in teaching them at home. If they need to relearn, you'll acquire the tools to provide support.

Our goal is to help you establish, or reestablish, clear and safe boundaries and provide you with the knowledge to maintain them. These principles apply to all children, regardless of their neurobiological makeup.

Stop

I'll request that you shift your attention away from the past and the future and concentrate on the present moment, right here and now.

Take a Step Back

We'll get a big picture view of your life, including your family, values, school, activities, and friends. We'll discuss what matters most, what's doable, what can't be changed, what's realistic, and what expectations are in these areas.

Observe

I'll guide you in observing your child in a more informed and effective manner, helping you gather the necessary information to enhance your parent-child relationship.

Plan

Take small steps.

That's all there is to it.

Your plan will always be manageable and within your capacity.
